The relevant items discussed were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Election of committee: The committee members will remain the same. <br><br>Teams: We have 21 registered teams and therefore we will have three divisions (see below). <br><br>Drugs Policy: The league has implemented a drugs policy. This was read out and is now uploaded to the rules page. We recommend all teams re-read the policy and make your venue manager aware of it also. <br><br>Age Policy: The general rule of minimum age for players being 11 still remains but it was decided that younger players may be allowed to play if agreed with the committee prior to game night.<br><br>Finals Night: Will remain at Paulton Rovers. We will look at improving the score board. <br><br>Division Three Trophies: We have a number of D3 trophies from previous seasons but we may need more. If that\u2019s the case we may ask for sponsorship. <br><br>Game length: There have still been issues with some game times so the rules have been adjusted to make sure teams start by 8.30pm at the latest but it was emphasised that games can start earlier if both teams are ready. <br><br>Knockout: There will now been two rounds played before going to the finals night and all games will be best of five. <br><br>Trophies &amp; Cancellations: Allan noted that trophy returns and the situation with cancellations have been better since it was brought up at the last meeting. <br><br>Cards: Dave reminded the league that it\u2019s the home teams responsibility to send the result in and could full names always be used on the cards. Also, games can be moved to an earlier date to avoid cancellations but not to send in the result until the original fixture date. <br><br>Ladies Singles: Ladies singles will go ahead again this season and the final may go ahead on finals night but that will be decided by the ladies that make the final. <br><br>Player Table: Ladies must have played at least five games to qualify for a \u2018top lady\u2019 prize. <br><br>Prize Money: Mark suggested that as we now have three divisions, only the top two teams in each division will receive prize money. <br><br>Paulton Rovers Open: A reminder was given about the Paulton Rovers Open coming on May 23rd. <br><br>We anticipate the league will start on Thursday 28th May and there will be no divisional singles or pairs. <br><br>D1: Lamb Clandown A, Peasedown Posse, Paulton Rovers, Westhill, Waldegrave, The Star, Norton SC<br><br>D2: Riverside, Mardons, Lamb Clandown B, The Crown, Lamb Paulton A, Haydon Que Club, Lamb Clandown D<br><br>D3: Lamb Clandown C, Crossways A, Crossways B, Lamb Paulton B, Red Lion, Radstock Working Men\u2019s Club, The Old Station<br><br>***********<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Summer Season 2026 AGM will take place at The Waldegrave (Chewton Mendip) on Thursday 7th May @ 8pm.<br><br>If you would like to join or re-join the league please do your best to attend the meeting. If you can\u2019t, please let us know in advance.
