“Thanks to everyone who attended the meeting.

The draws were made for the ko cups as well as the singles and pairs. Thanks to Ju and Carol for assisting Matt.

A vote was taken on the venues for the divisional singles. First division will be held at the Mardons club, The second will be held at Norton USC. Carol has kindly offered to again run the first, with Steve Jones and Mickey Sampson make the same offer to run the second.

We also voted on the venue for the ko and subs finals venue, A decision was made in favour of Mardons, although this will not be confirmed until after the divisional singles night.

We also made an announcement on behalf of Richard Meadows family , a trophy will be made available to be played for annually in Richs memory. It has been suggested that it be made open to all players under the age of 21. It will also be an open competition to all the local leagues, not just the Courage. We will review it annually on behalf of the family too see if age restrictions etc should be tweaked to make it as well a supported competition as possible.

We are hoping to organise the above competition in the break between summer and winter leagues. We also hope to get the over 50’s comp running at the same time.”

Finals night is confirmed for the 25th August, 8.00pm at Westhill Club
